    I can’t tell you how important community support is for crisis centers. I volunteered as a rape crisis counselor for my local center for a year. Thanks Shiloh for help spreading the word! I can tell you that used cell phones are always a good donation. Also, if the rape crisis center can’t use them…domestic violence shelters often can. Also, shelters will usually take clothes as well. Many of us usually think Goodwill, but sometimes women who flee an abusive situation don’t take much, if anything, other than the clothes on their (and their kids’) back. Just another option if you donate clothes :).
