Carpal tunnel? No…. now it's cubital tunnel

Writing can wreak havoc on your body.  Seriously.  And FYI…this havoc is part of the reason I get ticked off when people blithely steal and share my work.  The more I write, the more I damage my hands, and yet still… some people think it’s okay to just abuse a writer’s hard work.  But I’m getting off on a tangent here.  I wanted to whine about my hands for a few minutes, not pirates.

I’m 33 years old and I’ve already had carpal tunnel releases on both sides.  Now some of this we can attribute to pregnancy, I’m one of the few that develop it during pregnancy.  Most women stop experiencing the symptoms after delivery. Not me.  I kept them.

But I can’t blame my new problem on pregnancy.  It’s all on the writing.

I’ve recently been diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome-similiar deal as with carpal tunnel, but higher up.  More than likely, I’m looking at surgery.  Again.  And I’ve finally decided to give voice software a shot.  At this point, I need to figure out something because the pain in my hands and wrists is getting pretty heavy.

Needless to say… I’m not happy about this.
