Nightlife (pssst….there's a contest)

UTA…contest is now over!  Winner’s name to be posted shortly.

**ATTENTION**Do NOT post this contest to sweepstakes sites. If my contests keep ending up on sweepstakes sites, I’ll stop messing with them…these are for my readers or potential readers, and I would appreciate it if people would respect my requests.

Okay, with that out of the way…I love this series.  Is awesome.  Very, very awesome.  I’m torn between these and Ilona Andrews for the best urban fantasy.  Cal is just excellent.  Niko is just excellent.   The author is just excellent.

These stories are just excellent.

I read the first one a while back, saw the second, bought it and then got busy, could have kicked myself, but now I’m glad I was busy, because I ended up gorging on books 2-4 while on vacation.  Gave my brain a much needed rest from my projects and recharged some brain cells.  Plus, they are just plain fun.

The blurb:

“There are monsters among us. There always have been and there always will be. I’ve known that ever since I can remember, just like I’ve always known I was one……Well, half of one, anyway.”

Welcome to the Big Apple. There’s a troll under the Brooklyn Bridge, a boggle in Central Park, and a beautiful vampire in a penthouse on the Upper East Side—and that’s only the beginning. Of course, most humans are oblivious to the preternatural nightlife around them, but Cal Leandros is only half-human.

His father’s dark lineage is the stuff of nightmares—and he and his entire otherworldly race are after Cal. Why? Cal hasn’t exactly wanted to stick around long enough to find out.

He and his half-brother Niko have managed to stay a step ahead for three years, but now Cal’s dad has found them again. And Cal is about to learn why they want him, why they’ve always wanted him…for he is the key to unleashing their hell on earth. The fate of the human world will be decided in the fight of Cal’s life…

But don’t take my word for it.  It’s been a while since I’ve done one of the BOMContests, so we’re going to do an informal/Shiloh being lazy one here.

I’m going to give away a copy of the first in the series to somebody that comments here.  Just drop your name in, or recommended a series you love.  I’ll draw a winner before the month is out.  FYI, if you’re not familiar with my contest rules, you might want to read the disclaimer.  Yes, out of the States is fine, but it might be the slower rate.  Yes, you can enter even if you’ve won before here.  No, you can’t place this contest on ANY sweepstakes site.  Sorry, only one entry per household.  You are responsible for checking back to see if you’ve won.  Thank you!
