The auction ended with a price of $600 that is going to go to SAVE THE CHILDREN.

I went to check some out on STC’s website and saw this…

* for as little as $50, we can provide a household kit with blankets, mosquito nets, plastic sheeting, mattresses, candles and more.
* for only $40, we can provide personal hygiene kits containing items like towels, buckets, razors, sanitary towels, toothbrushes and toothpaste
* for $8 we can distribute oral rehydration salts which can save the lives of children who suffer from diarrhea-related dehydration.

They are going to be able to do a decent amount with $600. From the very bottom of my heart, I thank you. The suffering these people are enduring breaks my heart but knowing we’ve done something to ease that suffering helps.

Again…romance readers rock. Even the nutjob** aka Emmy who paid $600 for a couple of books. ;o)
