The cool thing about being a writer is that you can justify your nosiness.

And plain and simple, I am nosy. I’m curious. I want to know everything about everything…or at least a little.

Since everything is fodder for stories to me, I don’t feel too bad about being nosy any more. But man…some of the questions I’ve asked~whoa.

• to my husband…If you were going to kill a person and try to dispose of the body totally, how would you do it?
• to a lawyer friend I know through my local KYRW chapter…If a person goes missing, how long before they can be legally declared dead?
• to my old boss…How much money do you make a year? YES! I was asking for research sake. I have a lot of characters with a medical-type background.
• to a cop…Do you allow ride-alongs? But I didn’t ask any of the ones who’d pulled me over. That would be too weird.

And those are just the ones that stand out. 😉
