Okay, so I didn’t go to this movie expecting something deep and thought provoking.  I mean, come on, this is Homer we’re talking about.  A doofus in the fullest sense of the word. Yeah, he has his endearing moments, love for Marge and all.

But I’m kind of disappointed.  I’m not a die hard Simpsons fan, but the TV show does make me laugh.  I think after… how many years now? 15?  I think I just expected a bit more.  Somebody else who said it was like seeing a long version of one of the TV episodes.  And I think I agree.  It wasn’t bad, but it really wasn’t worth paying $20 to go see, either.

I think I would have much rather seen I Know Who Killed Me.  Of course, the DH seems to think it looks dumb.  🙁  Oh well, I’ll talk him into it.
