I dunno how much writing I’ll get done today.  Possibly little to none.  It’s Sunday, so after church, I’m heading over to mom’s and normally, after that, I could squeeze in a few K, but tonight there’s a church party for the kids, a back to school thing.

And it’s an all nighter.  Whether we’ll stay all night or not, I dunno, but I can’t get any work done then.  So I suppose I’ll be making up for it tomorrow.

I don’t know why, but I’ve discovered over the past few years that I’m incredibly productive when I’m in a car.  If we’re going someplace that takes more than 20 minutes or so, I take my laptop.  Like yesterday.  The bratlet had a church camp sleepover and the place is out in God’s country.  Literally even.  ;o)  It takes like an hour+ to get there so I took my laptop and pounded out about 1500 words, give or take, on the trip.

Maybe I need to outfit my office with the carcass of an old van or something and I can just sit and pretend the DH is driving somewhere and I got nothing to do but write.  ;o)

So I’m not really making ‘weekly’ goals for the 70 days of sweat, per se.  I did have a monthly goal for July, though.  I needed to get 30K done on The Missing so I could turn my proposal in.  Since I’m now at… (drum roll) 26K, it looks like I’ll make it.  I only had about 8k about two weeks ago.  Nothing like competition to get me rolling, huh?

The untitled historical is on standby for another week or so.  It’s not due until November and I want to get One of the Guys done, turned in and submitted first.
