I’d initially posted this title was going to be coming out soon from Forever Romance/Grand Central, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.
Sometimes, when it comes down to contracts, you can’t quite get the odds and ends to line up.
That’s basically where we are at. The stars just aren’t aligning up for both sides the way we need them to, so we’re going going to have to have to just let it go.
I do plan on getting the book out for readers and when I have an idea on just how that will work out, I’ll let you know.
I’m patient I can wait! It will come out hopefully sooner than later.

I’m so sorry to hear this isn’t working out. Are you sticking with publisher, or going elsewhere? What about self-publishing? Whatever you decide to do, I hope you are satisfied with the results. I look forward to reading Beautiful Scars as soon as it’s out. 🙂
Sad the deal fell through for you, glad you still plan on somehow getting this book into our greedy readers hands as it sounds fantastic from the bit you shared!
No… it won’t be with Forever at all, sadly. @Kathleen, I know you’re just putting it out there, but something my readers need to keep in mind…self publishing a book requires a time investment that’s probably more than double or triple than what my other books, plus a substantial cost out of my pocket up. To put it in perspective…the editorial costs alone run me hundreds of dollars.
I self publish the titles I basically want to have complete freedom over or the titles that just don’t work as well in other venues. That’s not the case here.
It’s always disappointing when you negotiate and you just can’t quite close the deal. Hope you can place the manuscript with another publishing house without to many time consuming modifications. Good luck.
