Open Door

Just a reminder… I’m out of town still, but just to fill the page… *G*

So… anybody got any questions? Series stuff?  Previous books?  Writing stuff? Although I suck royally at that sort of thing.  I can’t promise I’ll get in there to answer today, but I’ll check in and answer as I can later, and if the questions are the sort that might make me think, I may use them for blog post fodder, just so ya know.

  1. just a question (not really anything blog worthy)… but I find it strange that you and another author (cheyenne McCray use the same model on your web sites). You aren’t by any chance the same author? Just curious

I love your work, especially the Missing. Finding the trade paperwork several months back has allowed me to seek out many of your books (broken, fragile, the hunters, etc). Your characters really come alive for me and I find myself very emotional during my reading adventures. Thanks again!

  2. You can’t or don’t need to answer my question but I think of this whenever I read your posts or your books. How did you get to be so damn wise at such a young age? I know you’re smart too but I see wisdom as a little deeper.

  3. ummm… I watch people, I see people looking like asses and idiots and I’m opposed to doing that whenever possible, maybe… *G* And i watch people. A lot. Much can be learned from that maybe…

  4. RE: Cheyenee….Do we? I hadn’t noticed-hadn’t seen Cheyenne’s site in forever, but no, we aren’t the same author. I’ve had the splash page for my site for a couple of years-it’s stock art and it’s an appealing piece. Unless I bought the rights to a certain photo, anybody can buy stock art.

    thank you…

  6. Love all your books (great seeing you at RWA)

What questions do you as an author hate to hear over and over again?
I know as fans, we must ask the same thing and it’s got to drive you nuts.
My initial question was what can we expect for the next Hunter book? And then i thought, she must get those all the time

  7. Hi Jennifer…. well, the next Hunter book is Nessa’s and it’s due out in June, I think.

Q’s I hate to hear… eh, well, I kind of dread craft-related, like… how do I get published, or how do I learn this or that…because there’s no easy answer, and often, no SET answer. We all go about things differently and what worked for me won’t work for another.

But Qs I hate? That would be something rude, along the lines of…

do you REALLY do all the things you write about

how much money do you make

that sort of thing…and yes, people do, have, and will continue to ask… O.o
