The Missing

The Missing by Shiloh Walker, 11/08

Well, I heard from my editor on Friday about The Missing

She liked it. This means I can breathe…until I start thinking about her reading Fragile. Oye.

The Missing is a book kind of like Through the Veil in regards to how long I’ve been thinking about writing it.

I actually had the idea for this book back about the same time I had the idea for my first Hunters book, Hunters: Declan and Tori. That was back in 2003, I think. And I didn’t write it until 2007.

My head just wasn’t ready. It’s a bit more complicated than what I usually write, although not quite as complex as Through the Veil. It took a while before I felt ready to tackle it.

So I’m glad (very very glad) she enjoyed it.

I hope you all do, too. Although I’ll have to spazz over that until November, since it’s not due out until then.

But spazzing seems to be my normal state of mind when it comes to my writing.
