Hey people, I’ve revised my disclaimer page.

If you visit my blog alot, and ESPECIALLY if you enter my contests, please look it over.

Here are the highlights.

• First things first…this blog discusses romances. Sometimes erotic romances. Probably not the best place for those under 18…thank you!
• Please note, that if you are under 18, do not enter any of my contests.  By entering any of my contests, you attest that you are eighteen, or the age of majority in your place of residence.
• I do discuss books but I’m not a reviewer. I do contests and give away books by various authors, but I don’t get any compensation from authors or publishers for this. I do it because it’s fun for those who read my blog and because I like to share books that I’ve enjoyed.
• Please do not forward contests on my blog onto sweepstakes sites or contest sites. I do these contests as a treat for my readers and to hopefully entice potential readers into trying out a new book or two. It’s not a sweepstakes site. Thank you!
• By entering  my contests, if the prize is a book, you agree to respect author copyright. If you cannot respect an author’s legal rights to her work, do not enter.
• If you enter a contest thru my blog, it’s your responsibility to check back and see if you won. If you don’t check back within a reasonable amount of time, your prize may be given to someone else. Also… you can enter every contest. I don’t limit you to winning just one or two.
• You can only enter EACH contest one time. Do not post under a couple of different IDs.
• I reserve the right to modify/change/end contests early as I see fit. This is particularly likely to happen if I discover my contests on sweepstakes sites and if that’s the case, I may not award the prize as I want it to going to my intended audience-my blog visitors.
• Due to recurrent attempts by a very few select people, contest entries are limited to one per household.
• Suspicious entries might find themselves deleted.
• The blog posts from this blog do get imported to a few places, namely my Amazon author page and facebook.  To enter any contests through this blog, people must reply AT the blog.  Thank you!
• Unless otherwise noted, prizes are either purchased by me, or I picked them up at various writer events to use a giveaways here at the blog.

Most of this is just in the name of disclosure-if I talk about an ARC and I say I love it, I really did love it, because if I don’t like it, I just won’t talk about it.  But the ARC was provided to me by the author.

If you’re under 18, you can’t enter my contests.  I’m sorry, but that’s how it is.  You can get us both in trouble, so please…don’t do that.

Anybody who visits my blog probably knows how I am about respecting author’s copyright-it’s about respecting my right to earn a living-earning an income as a writer is what allows me to continue to write-if I don’t make money, I will not continue to write and I only make money when books are purchased.  Do not use that old ‘libraries or used bookstore bit’-those books were purchased legally and I received my rightful compensation.

If you enter under multiple names or emails, you are cheating.  I don’t like dishonesty.  Don’t bother.

Don’t post my contests to sweepstakes sites.  These contests are for my readers and for potential readers and for those who hang out at my blog.  If people want to win from me, they jsut need to hang out at my blog.  They just might win.  But this isn’t a sweepstakes site and you are not allowed to post my contests TO sweepstakes sites.

I reserve the right to end contests when I see fit and if I see contest that ends up on a sweepstake site, I’m very like to end it-and I’m very likely to end it without drawing a winner.

The contest prizes are either purchased by me or I picked them up at random author events, like conventions or signings-unless otherwise noted.
