Get a Clue

Check this out.

This woman was sending and receiving graphic, and I’m not talking pretty little pictures or explicit letters, I mean GRAPHIC emails during work.  Under most circumstances, I’d just roll my eyes and think…moron…

But I think moron is a little too little for this chick.

What is her day job?

She teaches at an elementary school.  ELEMENTARY.

If she wants to do this in her home, hey, fine.  So be it.  She’s a grown up, she’s not hurting anybody when she does it on her own time, and it seems a lot of it was the ‘risque’ humor type of thing and not something totally vile like kiddie porn.  So I couldn’t care less if she does it in her own home (providing she doesn’t let kids see it while she’s doing it) but to do it in school…

How many of you have kids?  Or know how kids are?  If there’s something a kid shouldn’t see, one thing, in a room where everything else is perfectly kid friendly, they are going to see that one thing.

The article says she was sending and receiving 40+ of these emails a day.  I’m not going to ponder on whether or not she’s doing her job the way she should with all that email activity.  But I do have to say I think it was very foolish and wrong, plain and simple, to do that sort of thing in a room where she’s literally surrounded by kids, and on a PC that isn’t hers.

Ick.
