I’ve got another thing going on this weekend so I may or may not be around.\u00a0 Just in case… a MeMe mashup.\u00a0 I’m mashing my Friday 56 up with my Saturday Snippets.<\/p>\n

So from page 56 of my current WIP…*G* Book 3 in my RS trilogy…<\/p>\n

“Something\u2026shit.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know, it\u2019s like there are pieces missing from the puzzle and until I\u2019ve got those pieces, I can\u2019t find whatever so-called closure I\u2019m supposed to find to get on with my life.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And because I can already hear people gnashing their teeth, here’s a longer snippet.<\/p>\n

Although it’s not from page 56…<\/p>\n

Edgy and restless, Law left Lena and Roz in the caf\u00e9 while he headed down to the post office.\u00a0 There was no real reason for him to go down there.\u00a0 Hope had already been out here this morning, but he couldn\u2019t stay in the caf\u00e9, either.<\/p>\n

Edgy\u2026restless, like something was nipping at his heels.<\/p>\n

As he passed by the sheriff\u2019s department, he absently glanced toward it.\u00a0 Sometimes he still half-expected to see Neilson striding out of there\u2014he didn\u2019t know if he\u2019d ever get used to not seeing that guy.<\/p>\n

As he went to look away, though, he found himself freezing.<\/p>\n

Doing a double-take.<\/p>\n

Shit.<\/p>\n

It was her<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Nia.<\/p>\n

Nia Hollister.<\/p>\n

Fuck\u2026<\/p>\n

The air dwindled down out of his lungs.\u00a0 At the same time, he felt his heart start to race in his chest.<\/p>\n

Shit.<\/p>\n

Son of a bitch.<\/p>\n

What in the hell\u2026<\/p>\n

That was when he noticed Ezra, walking along beside her.<\/p>\n

Ezra caught sight of him and then he glanced past him, toward the caf\u00e9.\u00a0 Something dark flashed through the other man\u2019s eyes\u2014something Law couldn\u2019t quite define.\u00a0\u00a0 Worry.\u00a0 Nerves.<\/p>\n

What the fuck\u2026he didn\u2019t care about Ezra.\u00a0 She was here.\u00a0 What was she doing here?<\/p>\n

As they came to a stop in front of Law, he stared at her, into those pale gold eyes.<\/p>\n
