I met a ton of authors at RT. Some of them, like JC Wilder, the infamous Yeep aka Jennifer Dunne, Ashleigh Raine, Lora Leigh, I’ve met and chatted with before. Of course I don’t always get to see them outside of conferences, but ya take what ya can get, right?<\/p>\n

Old friends I got to see included, JC Wilder<\/a>, LuAnn McLane<\/a>, Rosemary Laurey<\/a>, Janice Maynard<\/a>, Lora Leigh<\/a>, Ashleigh Raine<\/a>, Rhyannon Bird<\/a> (Rhyannon, if you’re reading this, you need to tell Renee that I left my room-she won’t believe me) Angela Knight<\/a> and her cop, Lori Foster<\/a>, Anya Bast<\/a> (her beautiful little girl has gotten big) Jennifer Dunne<\/a> & SL Carpenter<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I managed to track down Ann Aguirre<\/a> and squeal over Grimspace<\/em> but I had no time to talk to her. Sad sigh.<\/p>\n

I actually had time to chat with a few authors that I met for the first time: Rachel Vincent<\/a> (sat next to her at the Saturday bookfair-bought her book), Rayna Vause<\/a> (sat next to her at the ebook expo-bought her book man, these things are murder on the wallet and the TBR pile<\/em>) Dakota Cassidy<\/a> (I’m an official Dakota fangirl-can I get a pin?). Maya Banks<\/a> was in one of the impromptu informal ‘gatherings’ I crashed and she’s a total sweetheart, although I think she was *almost* as quiet as my husband.<\/p>\n

One night, we ran into Lora and her DH in the hall. He was toting a pizza back to their room and naturally, when he invited us, we tagged along and ended up spending about two hours talking with Lora, Lorie O’Clare<\/a>, Sylvia Day<\/a> and Shayla Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although we were hostessing parties, I had barely had time to talk with some of the authors I was hostessing with-R. Garland Gray<\/a>, Anne Elizabeth<\/a>, Kathy Love<\/a>, Jade Lee<\/a>, Erin McCarthy<\/a> & Diane Whiteside<\/a> (I actually never had the chance to meet Diane, I think she hides better than I do)…then the other party, I got to meet Karen Kelley,<\/a> but very little time to talk. Anne invited me and the DH to join her and some friends for breakfast on Saturday and we had a great time, but for the life of me, I can’t remember names! Ack! I blame it on my oxygen deprived brain.<\/p>\n

Other authors I got to meet, mostly just in passing, Richelle Mead<\/a>, Jackie Kessler<\/a>, Jennifer Estep<\/a>, Marjorie Liu<\/a>, Liddy Midnight<\/a>, Barb Sheridan<\/a> (I think Barb saved Lora’s life-showed us a Starbucks)…. oye.<\/p>\n

Okay, I give up. I can’t remember everybody I met-*G* Should I start on the list of people I wanted<\/em> to meet and wasn’t able to?<\/p>\n
