Thirteen Things I do repeatedly…<\/p>\n

1. Watch my kids play.\u00a0 They never cease to put a smile on my face.\u00a0 Hey, did you all know that baby pretzels grow up into grown up pretzels at night?\u00a0 The things you can learn from a five year old…<\/p>\n

2. Procrastinate by blogging, checking email, web surfing…\u00a0 *G*\u00a0 There’s a reason I do most of my writing on my laptop.\u00a0 I refuse to hook it up to the internet because if I do…I’ll never get work done.<\/p>\n

3. Leave the house, wonder if I locked the doors and turn around to go back and check them.\u00a0 I’d sometimes get a mile away and wonder if I locked the doors.\u00a0 Of course, I had, but it was this compulsion thing.\u00a0 So I had to go check.\u00a0 Then I realized the bratlet (my oldest daughter) was picking up on my little neurotic episodes and I had to quit.<\/p>\n

4. Read the In Death series by JD Robb<\/a>.\u00a0 I could read it a thousand times and I love it as much as the first time.<\/p>\n

5. Read the Stardoc series by SL Viehl<\/a>.\u00a0 Same reasons as\u00a0above.\u00a0 I literally read my first Stardoc book to pieces and had to buy a new copy.<\/p>\n

6. Pull up an idea that I started playing with years ago, a book I want to write, but it just never seems to be the right time.\u00a0 So I pull it up, look at it, read thru what I started, maybe change this\u00a0or add a little of that, and then I save it for another rainy day.\u00a0 At this rate, I may finish it when I’m 60.<\/p>\n

7. Hit the bookstores.\u00a0 Even though my TBR pile probably numbers into the hundreds, or higher, I can’t stop buying more books.<\/p>\n

8. Email my agent\/editor to ask if I had done this, or if I needed to do that, or this had shown up yet.\u00a0 One of these days, I’ll get organized and stop pestering them so much, but hey, what if they get lonely?<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0Hound friends for ARCS.\u00a0 So far, I’ve gotten pretty good at getting\u00a0them out of Jaci Burton<\/a>, JR Ward<\/a>, Lora Leigh<\/a>, Sunny<\/a>, Mary Wine<\/a>, Joey Hill\u00a0<\/a>and Shelby Reed<\/a>.\u00a0 Well, a few others but I dunno if I’m allowed to tell about those.\u00a0 BTW, Joey, if you read this… bad girl!\u00a0 You corrupted Santa Claus!<\/p>\n

10. Watch Law and Order: SVU.\u00a0 Whether I’ve seen the episode ten times or just one.\u00a0 I watch them over and over…<\/p>\n

11.\u00a0 Take pictures.\u00a0 I love taking pictures.\u00a0 I hate <\/strike><\/strong>loathe and despise having my picture taken, but I love taking them.\u00a0 I’ve actually taken some pretty decent ones and I’ve got a new toy to play with now, too.\u00a0 The DH bought me a Canon Rebel with these really cool zoom lenses for Christmas and I’ve taken uh… well, lets not talk about how many pictures I’ve already taken.<\/p>\n

12. Go eat at Molly Malone’s, this little Irish pub\/resturant we discovered a few months ago.\u00a0 I’m addicted. I keep wondering if they’d let me rent space there during the day.<\/p>\n

13. Drive my husband crazy.\u00a0 On a regular basis.\u00a0 If I didn’t say or do something that made him shake his head\u00a0and question my sanity\u00a0(on a daily basis)\u00a0 he’d think I\u00a0was seriously ill.\u00a0<\/p>\n
