{"id":4837,"date":"2010-04-29T08:00:22","date_gmt":"2010-04-29T13:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/shilohwalker.wordpress.com\/?p=4837"},"modified":"2010-04-29T08:00:22","modified_gmt":"2010-04-29T13:00:22","slug":"little-annoyances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.shilohwalker.com\/website\/2010\/04\/little-annoyances\/","title":{"rendered":"Little\u00a0Annoyances\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;m off at RT.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll probably be posting some in between.<\/p>\n<p>But here&#8217;s something to amuse while I&#8217;m gone.<\/p>\n<p>Little annoyances&#8230; as in things that annoy me.<\/p>\n<p>The things on facebook that say:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">99.9% (or something like that) won&#8217;t repost this&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Okay, so I don&#8217;t need to post something on FB to &#8216;prove&#8217; that I&#8217;m a Christian-that&#8217;s kind of between me and my Lord, and I&#8217;ve already confessed Him before men, so &#8216;daring&#8217; me to do on facebook&#8230;eh, those are annoying, plus, so many of those come with a confrontational tone-I&#8217;m going to ignore them just on that basis alone.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;m a nurse-more, I&#8217;m a pediatric nurse.\u00a0 I know kids with autism aren&#8217;t looking for a cure.\u00a0 I know *many* kids with disabilities aren&#8217;t looking for a cure.\u00a0 I know they are looking for acceptance&#8230; yes, I know this&#8230; and I&#8217;m sorry, but the 99.9 percent thing is probably not doing the thing to raise awareness that people think.\u00a0 After you see something so many times?\u00a0 People block it out.\u00a0 And again&#8230; that confrontational\u00a0 &#8220;99.9 percent won&#8217;t do this&#8230;&#8221; It&#8217;s like that&#8230; &#8220;if you&#8217;re a cool rebel, you&#8217;ll do it&#8230;&#8221; Um.\u00a0 Pass.<\/li>\n<li>The IF YOU REALLY SUPPORT YOUR SOLDIERS posts&#8230; those annoy me, too.\u00a0 Because I do support my soldiers, but I don&#8217;t need a facebook post to prove that-I support them through other means&#8230;sending them books, for one.<\/li>\n<li>These sort of messages, I&#8217;m sorry but after they&#8217;ve been seen 20000 million times?\u00a0 They become meaningless.\u00a0 or worse&#8230; <em>annoying<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">People who tailgate me on my winding country road:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sorry, pal.\u00a0 I&#8217;m already driving a little over&#8230; not going any faster just to let you get there fifteen sooner.\u00a0 And if you get any closer to my bumper?\u00a0 I&#8217;m going to drive UNDER the speed limit&#8230;rather than over it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">Spamb0ts on twitter who want to spam me about &#8216;weight loss&#8217; crap.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dear b0ts: I&#8217;ve lost 40lbs without your crap.\u00a0 I can do another 40 without your crap.\u00a0 Go away, and lemme alone.\u00a0 Thanks.\u00a0 Besides, your crap? That kinda stuff?\u00a0 Never worked&#8230; for me, at least.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">Lousy customer service<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Followed by people who actually think you&#8217;ll still pay for products you requested be canceled when the customer service was lousy.<\/li>\n<li>FYI, if somebody <em>requests<\/em> you cancel an order?\u00a0 Don&#8217;t go ahead and just blindly hope they&#8217;ll pay for it.<\/li>\n<li>FYI&#8230;I&#8217;m not this person.\u00a0 If I say cancel&#8230; I mean cancel, and <em>I will not pay<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">When a restaurant stops selling the food you like<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Once upon a time, applebees had the weightwatchers lemony cheesecake something other or other.\u00a0 they stopped selling it.\u00a0 LOVED.<\/li>\n<li>Once upon a time, red lobster had the aztec chicken entree.\u00a0 they stopped selling it.\u00a0 LOVED.<\/li>\n<li>Once upon a time, don pablo&#8217;s sangria tasted really, REALY good&#8230;. and they changed it or something because now&#8230; I hate it.<\/li>\n<li>this list could go on forever, but I don&#8217;t want to blog forever<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">When you&#8217;re out shopping for clothes, and you realize you&#8217;re too small for the Ws&#8230;but not quite able to fit in the NON Ws&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hit some places trying to find a 14W, because the 16Ws are too baggy, but regular 18s are a little too snug.<\/li>\n<li>Please note&#8230; I&#8217;m not <em>griping<\/em> about not fitting into the 16ws&#8230;I&#8217;m just irritated I can&#8217;t find clothes that fit very well.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left:30px;\">Buying a book&#8230;only to realize I&#8217;ve already bought it.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>But that&#8217;s not a bad thing for my blog readers.\u00a0 Cuz it usually results in a contest here for the duplicate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So&#8230; there are some of my little annoyances.\u00a0 Do you have any?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So I&#8217;m off at RT.\u00a0 I&#8217;ll probably be posting some in between.
