As one of the oldest of the Grimm, she had a hand in writing most of them, but only she knows the dark origin of the Seven Bloody Sisters. It springs from the place of her birth\u2014and her death. A place of pain and misery to which she plans to never return. Unless forced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When Luc appears on her doorstep, her heart twists with suppressed longing for the man who can never be hers. The only man who can make her do the impossible\u2014go home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luc may be blind, but through their unique, bittersweet connection, even he can see that the task laid before them is ripping Sina\u2019s soul apart. This time, it isn\u2019t as simple as fighting a demon that has escaped from the netherplains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sina must go back in time\u2014to that cursed ground\u2014and right a wrong that she unknowingly brought about. To write a new ending to a story that may give them both a chance at happily ever after. Assuming they survive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#ddf1f9\" class=\"has-background\"><em>This title has been previously published. No new material has been added. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wave of red he felt in his mind stunned him for a\nsecond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It was anger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luc knew anger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Had lived with it with Perci for years, although it hadn\u2019t\never been directed at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But he was no stranger to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Feeling it come from Sina was something of a shock, because\nto his knowledge, he hadn\u2019t ever done anything that might anger her <em>that<\/em>\nmuch\u2014had he?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wave shuddered\u2026and like one crashing against the sand,\nit broke. Over in the distance, he could feel another wave gathering, rising,\nrushing to the shore, but under it, he felt something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Under his hand, her skin felt smooth. It was odd that he\nnoticed it then. As his mind was trying to understand that puzzle of her, he\ncouldn\u2019t help but notice how insanely soft, how impossibly smooth her skin was.\nAnd she smelled incredible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLet me go, Luc.\u201d Her voice was husky, rough. She jerked\nagainst his hold and reflexively, he jerked back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She tumbled against his chest and he lifted a hand, rested it on her hip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote is-style-solid-color\"><blockquote><p>He&#8217;d lost his mind. <br>It was the only thing that made sense. <br>Nobody in his <em>right<\/em> mind would touch Sina if she didn\u2019t want to be touched\u2014 <\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The puzzle pieces clicked into place and all of a sudden, he\nsaw it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saw what he hadn\u2019t seen and understood what it was under the\nwave of anger. Anger\u2026yes. Mostly at herself. Frustration\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Hunger\u2014<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His brain clicked off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDamn it, are you not hearing me?\u201d Sina demanded, her voice\nrising. \u201cLet me go.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He opened his mouth. The words came out of their volition, he\u2019d\nswear it. Because he wasn\u2019t so crazy he\u2019d challenge her like that\u2026was he? \u201cAnd\nif I don\u2019t?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He felt her tense against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It had been centuries since he\u2019d lost his sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He couldn\u2019t remember missing it more than he did at that\nmoment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLuc\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He fisted his hand in the material of the shirt she wore\u2014it\nwas cotton, he thought, soft and warm from being against her skin. Maybe he\u2019d\nlike to peel it away from her.
