The funneling of rejected MS.  Now MANY of those rejected are savvy, have done homework <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867315555\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:10<\/em> they have researched and they&#8217;ll either polish and submit again, write another, go elsewhere. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867323491\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:10<\/em> some will look at it and realize it&#8217;s NOT going to profit the,m but they are willing to pay to see book in print.  that&#8217;s cool. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867336688\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:11<\/em> but what about the &#8216;not&#8217; savvy writer? The newbie that ends up on e Harl&#8217;s site and sees the shiny links to HHz. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867350397\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:11<\/em> They got to HHz, and read about how getting their work &#8216;printed&#8217; by this pub &#8216;proves&#8217; they are a serious author. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867366049\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:12<\/em> They read about how their books will available at bn.com, amazon, the kindle. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867387069\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:12<\/em> they read about all the special packages.  Then they call the number&#8230; and I won&#8217;t say where I got the info, but the number? <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867397376\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:13<\/em> One person was told by putting their book in print, it would be read by editors at Random House, Harper Collins. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867415549\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:14<\/em> AND&#8230; if these authors may receive offers from these trad pubs. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867428504\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:14<\/em> They are selling stardust.  At a very high premium.  And while there is NO subsitute for research and homework and leanring the biz&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867446596\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:15<\/em> there is also no excuse for exploiting somebody because they have a dream. <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867462710\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:16<\/em> Being told their book will be in the hands of trad. editors? <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867476957\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:17<\/em> @<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/rebyj\">rebyj<\/a> they&#8217;ll collect it from when the author buys their own copies to sell, or if they sell anything at Bn, amazon, etc <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/shilohwalker\/statuses\/5867512266\">#<\/a><\/li>\n<li><em>15:18<\/em> @<a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/redrobinreader\">redrobinreader<\/a> but I&#8217;m on HC&#8217;s site right now.
