Decker was a selfish bastard, because he wanted, more than anything, to hear that she\u2019d broken up with Noel.<\/p>\n

He\u2019d been a year too late\u2026and he\u2019d lost his chance.<\/p>\n

He\u2019d been counting down the time, looking forward to every letter she sent, looking forward to every visit, every phone call, but he hadn\u2019t told her. It hadn\u2019t seemed the time.<\/p>\n
