It rained yesterday.<\/p>\n

And I don’t just mean a little.\u00a0 It rained from the time I left for church with the kids right on up to the time I started getting ready for bed a little after ten.\u00a0 We had several inches dumped on us, at least.<\/p>\n

After church, I came home and made chili…best food ever for a rainy fall Sunday, right?<\/p>\n

Then I spent the afternoon reading.<\/p>\n

The first book I read was: Savor Me Slowly <\/strong>by Gena Showalter.<\/p>\n

This was the first book I think I’ve read by Gena Showalter, but I liked it a lot.\u00a0 And the cover is awesome.<\/p>\n

After I finished it, I went through my old favorites and decided to re-read Heaven, Texas<\/strong> by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.<\/p>\n

Now this is a re-read.\u00a0 Which means…it’s a favorite.\u00a0 I love<\/em> SEP’s stuff.\u00a0 I’m torn between this one and Kiss An Angel<\/strong>, my other favorite by her.\u00a0 I haven’t read several of her newer books, though…hmmm.\u00a0 Must remedy that.<\/p>\n
