This is going be another small town sorta thing. \u00a0Hopefully it will appeal to those who liked the Ash books.<\/p>\n

It’s going to be have more stories, though.<\/p>\n

There are going be a couple of e-novellas before the three full-length books are released in print. \u00a0Those books are:<\/p>\n

Burn For Me<\/em><\/p>\n

Break For Me<\/em><\/p>\n

Long For Me<\/em><\/p>\n

They’ll release in the spring.<\/p>\n

The first book,\u00a0Deeper than Need<\/em>, will release in late summer, if I recall correctly.<\/p>\n

Here’s a snippet from the first novella.<\/p>\n

She wanted that purse.<\/p>\n

Jennie Holmes didn’t covet a lot of things, but as she told stood behind the counter of The Madison Pizza Company, she decided she was going to let herself covet that purse.<\/p>\n

It was a safe obsession. Vivid, murder red, butter soft-leather. It cost almost as much as she made in a week\u2014it would have to.\u00a0 It was a Coach purse. \u00a0She had an eye for those things, mostly because she obsessed over them.\u00a0 Drooled. Coveted.<\/p>\n

Sometimes when she went shopping in Louisville or Lexington, she\u2019d even let herself pet them.<\/p>\n

But she wouldn’t ever buy one. How in the hell could she buy a purse like that when she could barely afford to put food on the table?<\/p>\n

Still, it was a safe enough obsession, because she knew she wouldn\u2019t ever go and waste money she couldn\u2019t afford to waste on something like a purse, not when her two boys needed shoes, not when she needed to figure out how to fix the roof, and not when she was still scrambling to pay the bills over the appendectomy she had to have last winter.<\/p>\n

The owner of that gorgeous red purse stood in the doorway, blinking as her eyes adjusted to the dim light after being out in the bright sunny afternoon.<\/p>\n

Jennie gave herself another second to lust as she gathered up a couple of menus and tried to not to notice the way somebody was grinning at her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you keep staring at the purse, she\u2019s going to think you plan on mugging her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Just the sound of that voice was enough to make her heart skip, and maybe it made her knees a little weak, although she managed not to let it show as she turned her head and looked into the dark brown eyes of one Tate Bell, her other obsession.<\/p>\n

He<\/i> wasn\u2019t so safe.<\/p>\n

And lately, she was starting to think she might have to give him up.<\/p>\n

He was like too much chocolate, too much wine.\u00a0 She wanted to gorge on him, but he was oh, so very bad for her.\u00a0 If she could keep herself to just lusting after him, it wouldn\u2019t be an issue.\u00a0 Lust was nice. Lust was healthy.\u00a0 But she\u2019d let herself get lost in him.\u00a0 Lost herself to<\/i> him.<\/p>\n

Maybe that wouldn\u2019t be so bad, if he could do the same.<\/p>\n

But Tate had\u2026commitment issues.<\/p>\n

Hell, screw that. Tate had emotional issues.<\/p>\n

With a lazy shrug, she said, \u201cNothing wrong with looking, sugar, right?\u201d<\/p>\n

A smile curved his lips.<\/p>\n

That smile\u2026damn it, that smile was what started it.\u00a0 That was why she\u2019d given into him in the first place, and all he had to do was flash her that smile at any given time and it made her want to forget herself all over again.<\/p>\n

Forget the promises she\u2019d made herself late last night, as she lay in her bed, with the scent of him still on her skin, while her heart split just a little more.<\/p>\n

He might share her bed, but he wanted no part of her heart and she knew that.<\/p>\n

She knew she needed to pull away from him.<\/p>\n

What she didn\u2019t know was if she could<\/i>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re doing a lot more than looking at that purse, Jennie-girl,\u201d he drawled, lifting his sweet tea to his mouth and drinking.\u00a0 His throat worked and she had to look away before she started thinking about pressing her mouth to that strong, tanned lined.\u00a0 Before she started thinking about how they\u2019d ended up in the shower last night\u2014he\u2019d been all hot and sweaty from hours spent in his studio and she\u2019d been the same from hours spent hustling pizzas back and forth here at the restaurant.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh?\u201d\u00a0 She cocked a brow.\u00a0 \u201cAnd just what am I doing?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re practically drooling.\u201d\u00a0 He dropped his gaze to her mouth.<\/p>\n

Out of reflex, she swiped the back of her hand over her mouth.\u00a0 \u201cI am\u2026\u201d Then she rolled her eyes.\u00a0 \u201cYou need to finish your lunch and get out of my place, Tate.\u00a0 I\u2019ve got work to do.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThat was a subtle change of subject.\u00a0 Go on, go back to lusting over pretty purses.\u00a0 I\u2019ll pretend not to notice.\u201d\u00a0 He winked at her.<\/p>\n
