I had a phone conference thing with Mary of Muse Camp<\/a>… it’s something geared for writers. \u00a0There are several days geared toward the writing business so you might want to swing by. \u00a0My talk was recorded and saved, but you’ve only got a few days to listen.<\/p>\n

If you’re looking for the Hunter books in print, they are coming. \u00a0The first one<\/a> is due out in August. \u00a0The others will come as I have time.<\/p>\n

I’m about to start the third book in the RS trilogy I’m working on… here’s a snippet. \u00a0I don’t have titles, blurbs or anything, but here’s a snippet.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Trinity frowned as she listened to the noise her son had heard.<\/p>\n

Rattling.\u00a0 Metal rattling and clinking.\u00a0 Courtesy dictated that she leave and she looked around once more for Noah, but he wasn’t in there.<\/p>\n

\u201cCome on, Micah…\u201d<\/p>\n

He slipped free of her hand and darted forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cMicah Dean Ewing,\u201d she snapped, starting forward.\u00a0 As she brushed by the desk, her purse bumped against a stack of folders and she swore, catching them as they started to topple over.<\/p>\n

She righted them just as Micah opened the door to the back of the office and the rattling and clinking got louder.<\/p>\n

She also heard a sound she hadn’t heard earlier…grunting.<\/p>\n

Micah’s eyes popped wide, rounding in his young face as a grin crooked his lips.\u00a0 \u201cWow…\u201d he mouthed, lifting a hand to point.<\/p>\n

\u201cMicah,\u201d she whispered, reaching the pull him away.\u00a0 But as she did, she couldn’t help but look.<\/p>\n

Wow, indeed<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Damn her lack of control anyway.<\/p>\n

The rattling and clinking came from a chain…one that was connected to a punching bag and that punching bag was being pummeled, very proficiently, it seemed, by Noah.\u00a0 Noah, who had stripped down to a pair of running shorts and now he wore just<\/i> the shorts and a pair of boxing gloves.<\/p>\n

Sweat gleamed along his black, arms, and shoulders.\u00a0 Muscles flexed under smooth skin and that fine sheen of sweat just served to draw the eye even more.\u00a0 She wanted to drop everything she was doing and just cross the floor, rest her hands on his arms, stroke them down and then lean in, kiss the sculpted muscle\u2026<\/p>\n

Trinity stood there staring, she felt something hot and molten spreading through her.\u00a0 Oh.\u00a0 Oh, my… I like.\u00a0 I like so very much<\/i>…<\/p>\n

A split second later, she wanted to kick herself.<\/p>\n

She had to get over this.\u00a0 One of these days, he was going to look over and see the way she was all but drooling over him and wasn\u2019t that<\/i> going to be embarrassing?<\/p>\n

She was bound to go straight to hell for this fixation she\u2019d developed over him.\u00a0 There had to be some sort of law or commandment or something against lusting over preachers, right?\u00a0 She was certain of it.\u00a0 But this one was just so very, very pretty to look at\u2026<\/p>\n

Swallowing, she tried to tear her eyes but after a few failed attempts, she decided…What the hell. I’m already on the path to damnation anyway.\u00a0 I might as well have a nice memory to take with me…<\/i><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
