No&#8230;. now it&#039;s cubital tunnel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Writing can wreak havoc on your body.\u00a0 Seriously.\u00a0 And FYI&#8230;this havoc is part of the reason I get ticked off when people blithely steal and share my work.\u00a0 The more I write, the more I damage my hands, and yet still&#8230; some people think it&#8217;s okay to just abuse a writer&#8217;s hard work.\u00a0 But I&#8217;m getting off on a tangent here.\u00a0 I wanted to whine about my hands for a few minutes, not pirates.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m 33 years old and I&#8217;ve already had carpal tunnel releases on both sides.\u00a0 Now <em>some<\/em> of this we can attribute to pregnancy, I&#8217;m one of the few that develop it during pregnancy.\u00a0 <em>Most<span style=\"text-decoration:underline;\"> <\/span><\/em>women stop experiencing the symptoms after delivery. Not me.\u00a0 I kept them.<\/p>\n<p>But I can&#8217;t blame my new problem on pregnancy.\u00a0 It&#8217;s all on the writing.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve recently been diagnosed with cubital tunnel syndrome-similiar deal as with carpal tunnel, but higher up.\u00a0 More than likely, I&#8217;m looking at surgery.\u00a0 Again.\u00a0 And I&#8217;ve finally decided to give voice software a shot.\u00a0 At this point, I need to figure out something because the pain in my hands and wrists is getting pretty heavy.<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say&#8230; I&#8217;m not happy about this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Writing can wreak havoc on your body.\u00a0 Seriously.\u00a0 And FYI&#8230;this havoc is part of the reason I get ticked off when people blithely steal and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shilohwalker.com\/website\/2009\/09\/carpal-tunnel-no-now-its-cubital-tunnel\/\" class=\"more-link\"><span class=\"screen-reader-text\"> &#8220;Carpal tunnel?
