So…we’re changing the title on WRECK THIS LIFE to just WRECKED. The publishers think it works better and that’s fine.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is my first full length contemporary with Berkley. \u00a0It’s actually one of my very few\u00a0<\/em>contemporaries…no suspense, no paranormal. \u00a0Just flat out contemporary.<\/p>\n

\u00a0When the journal falls into Zach\u2019s hands, he discovers Abigale wants a new man. And fast. Nothing more than a hot distraction. Zach has a strategy, too. He\u2019s going to be that man. She was eying his arms.\u00a0 Catching her lower lip between her teeth, she tugged on the soft curve and he almost went to his knees at the sight.\u00a0 A second later, she glanced away, but then she looked back.<\/span><\/p>\n

The thunder that had been crashing inside his head grew louder and louder.<\/span><\/p>\n

Have a torrid affair–<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Damn it, if she was dead set on that<\/em> idea, she could have an affair with him<\/em>, he decided.<\/span><\/p>\n

Even as the idea slammed into him, he tried to brush it aside.\u00a0 He’d kept what he felt wrapped up and buried deep for years.\u00a0 Spilling it now?<\/span><\/p>\n

Just wondering if you’re ever going to do anything about it.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

…it’s complicated…<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Hell.\u00a0 He was lecturing Abby about living life and letting go, and here he was, afraid to grab on<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The woman he wanted like he wanted his next breath was standing right there<\/em> and he was afraid to even make a fucking move.<\/span><\/p>\n

She turned away as he stood there, still wrestling with the very thought of it, need burning in him and twisting him into tight, hungry knots.\u00a0 Damn it.\u00a0 Damn it<\/em>.\u00a0 He needed to do this–<\/span><\/p>\n

“It will take about an hour or so,” Abby said.<\/span><\/p>\n
