How about the first time Law & Nia meet? \u00a0Cuz I like this meeting…<\/p>\n

The door opened to reveal an Amazon. That was his very first thought.<\/p>\n

His second thought was that he didn\u2019t how in the hell she\u2019d ended up on his property, but he wanted to know so he could send whoever a thank you card.<\/p>\n

Her eyes\u2026Shit. Her eyes.<\/p>\n

They were the palest shade of gold he\u2019d ever seen, paler than whiskey, but just as potent, just as strong.\u00a0 Mysterious and beautiful.<\/p>\n

They stared into his, revealing nothing.<\/p>\n

Her skin was the color of coffee and cream, warm and smooth and delicious.<\/p>\n

The leather jacket she wore seemed too damn warm for the weather they were having, but it suited her.\u00a0 Just like the plain black t-shirt suited her, just like the worn and faded jeans suited her.<\/p>\n

He imagined black silk would suit her every bit as well.\u00a0 Black silk, pearls, red lipstick on that lush mouth.\u00a0 Or even nothing at all.\u00a0 Lust punched through him with a force that damn near leveled him.<\/p>\n

She lifted a black brow at him.<\/p>\n

Those lush lips parted and she said, \u201cAre you Reilly? Law Reilly?\u201d<\/p>\n

Oh, shit. She was here looking for him.<\/p>\n

Maybe fate had decided to smile on him.<\/p>\n

He stepped aside and gestured her inside.\u00a0 \u201cI am.\u00a0 And what can I do for you, Ms\u2026?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNia.\u00a0 Call me Nia.\u201d\u00a0 The thick black fringe of her lashes swept down, shielding down her eyes.\u00a0 A faint smile curled her lips up as she sauntered inside, her hips swaying from side to side.\u00a0 He turned and admired the view as he shut the door.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ve got a gorgeous house.\u201d<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve got a gorgeous ass, <\/em>he thought.\u00a0 But he kept those words behind his teeth\u2014barely.\u00a0 Nia.\u00a0 He liked that.<\/p>\n

She shot him a look over her shoulder.<\/p>\n

There was a strange look in her eyes, a mix of something\u2026it bordered on satisfaction and contempt.\u00a0 \u00a0With a smug grin curling her lips, she turned around and faced him from in the middle of the hallway.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo.\u00a0 You\u2019re Law Reilly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Somewhere in the back of his head, a siren started to wail.<\/p>\n

He really, really needed to listen to it.<\/p>\n

But he was still so caught up in staring at her\u2026it was until she had that gun pointed at his head that he fully realized there was a problem.<\/p>\n
