Basically, what we’re doing is asking each other questions and then posing them to our blog readers.<\/p>\n

So here’s my question…If you could choose to take your SO away on a fantastic two week-long vacation to wherever you want WITH the kids (if you don’t have kids, then you’re tagging along with a friend\/family member\/somebody and you have babysitting duty), or stay home for a romantic weekend WITHOUT the kids, which would you choose…and why?<\/p>\n

That’s a really tough one – considering I can choose wherever I want to go, which assumes money is not an issue, it would be hard to pass up the chance to go someplace new and exotic, even with the kids or babysitting duty. I might get cross and tired out, but I’d have the memories to take back and re-examine later. Like the Grand Canyon would be a marvelous place to visit, with kids – mule rides, etc. On the flip side, having 2-3 days at home without taking care of my furry children (we have eight), as much as I love them, is so tempting. We could sleep in, do nothing but read, watch DVR and pay attention to one another. So…sigh. Okay, despite that, I’m going to choose the two-week vacation, though I might think longingly of the other option while I’m doing it!<\/p>\n

You know, a romantic weekend alone with my husband sounds really, really good…. Still, I’d probably opt to take the kidlet on the two week vacay. We only have one and she’s a pretty easy child (most of the time). We’d go somewhere kid-friendly, like a resort that has activities for the little ones.<\/p>\n

I would take off with the kids and the family. I know that in the blink of an eye my boys will be out the door.
