\u201cCrashing the party?\u201d she asked.\u00a0 Some part of her, the part that had tried to chide her into resting, recovering, was glad to see him.\u00a0 That part of her, the part that wouldn\u2019t give up, was glad to see him, glad that she wasn\u2019t going to walk into a fight she couldn\u2019t survive alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cBloody fool witch,\u201d Malachi growled.\u00a0 He stormed past her, sending her an icy look.\u00a0 \u201cYou might not give a damn if you live or die, but I do.\u201d<\/p>\n
