Not only does he have an amazing family, but he\u2019s become a Hollywood golden boy who has everything he\u2019s ever wanted\u2014with one exception. He\u2019s had a thing for Marin since he was a kid, but when he finally summons the courage to ask her out, she turns him down. Marin is ready to settle down, she wants commitment and stability, and Sebastien is still too much of a playboy, caught up in the wild life of the spotlight.<\/p>\n<p>Still reeling from the rejection, Sebastien\u2019s luck runs out later that night when he saves a girl from an assault. The shining knight role fits him just fine, but his armor\u2014and his perfect life\u2014become tarnished when the near-deadly attack lands him in the hospital. Physically scarred, he gives up acting and retreats from everybody.<\/p>\n<p>If anyone can pull Sebastien back from the abyss, it\u2019s Marin. But first she has to convince him that beauty is <i>not <\/i>only skin deep&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2666<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not leaving you alone like this. \u00a0You need to talk to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTalk\u2026\u201d He murmured it, turning the word over in his mouth as though he was unfamiliar with it.<\/p>\n<p>He shifted, using his body to nudge hers around until she was the one standing with her back to the railing and Sebastien crowded in closer.<\/p>\n<p>Warning began to sound in her head.<\/p>\n<p>Not that <em>fear<\/em> sort of warning.<\/p>\n<p>No.<\/p>\n<p>Her head was sending out a different sort of alarm\u2014it was going\u2026<em>oh, shit\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sebastien caught her wrists, tugging them away from his face. \u00a0She curled her fingers into her palms so that when he guided them to his chest, her hands were balled up into fists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou want to know what\u2019s wrong, Marin?\u201d he asked, pressing his face into her hair. \u00a0\u201cWant to hear all my problems? You\u2019re so determined to help me out\u2026is that it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2026\u201d She paused, taking a shaking breath. That breath exploded out of her when he pushed his thigh between hers. \u00a0She thought she\u2019d quiver and just wilt away when he placed one big palm on her hip and tugged her in closer to him, tucking her pelvis against his.<\/p>\n<p>Marin\u2019s brain started to melt.<\/p>\n<p>Oh. <em>Shit<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Against her hip, she felt his cock pulsing and in response, everything inside her began to heat and pulse in answer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSee\u2026\u201d Sebastien\u2019s lips were just a breath from her ear, his voice low and gritty and raw. \u00a0\u201cThis is my problem. \u00a0I\u2019ve only wanted to sink my dick inside you for\u2026hell, I can\u2019t even remember when it started, but we\u2019re talking <em>years<\/em>, sugar. <em>Years<\/em>. \u00a0You get close to me and that scent of yours fills my head and it\u2019s all I can do to focus. \u00a0Now here I am, half drunk and focus is one thing I don\u2019t have.\u00a0 I can\u2019t <em>focus<\/em>. I just want <em>fuck<\/em>\u2026and who do you think it is I\u2019m wanting to\u2026<em>focus<\/em> on?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He caught her earlobe, tugged.<\/p>\n<p>Marin sucked in a gasp. \u00a0Without realizing it, she uncurled her fists, flexed, then tightened them again, now clutching the material of his shirt. \u00a0\u201cI either need to be inside you or unconscious and I know there\u2019s really only one option. \u00a0You made yourself clear enough last year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He pulled away, but not before he raked his teeth down her neck.<\/p>\n<p>A hard shudder racked Marin all the way down to her toes.<\/p>\n<p>It didn\u2019t go unnoticed by Sebastien, either. \u00a0His eyes gleamed, but all he did was put a few more feet between them. \u00a0\u201cYou want me,\u201d he said. \u00a0\u201cI think I could have you now. \u00a0But you don\u2019t like it. \u00a0\u00a0What\u2019s really shitty is that you\u2019re here because you feel sorry for me. \u00a0I don\u2019t need that, Marin. \u00a0So just\u2026leave.
