The spoiled youngest child of the town patriarchs, Neve was viewed by all as the pampered princess and more than a little out of control. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>But leaving town didn&#8217;t make it her life any easier. \u00a0It just got a whole lot worse. A decade later, she returns, her life a mess and her dreams in pieces.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Ian Campbell<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Best friends with the only male of the McKay clan, Ian came across the pond to manage the rennovated pub known as Treasure Island. \u00a0When a tall, slim redhead comes into his place, the big Scot&#8217;s heart starts to race&#8230;then it stops once he realizes who she\u00a0is.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Impact, Charcoal, sans-serif;\">Headed For Trouble<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been to Scotland,\u201d she murmured, turning her head to meet his eyes. \u201cDo you know . . . Her breaths sounded ragged even to her own ears. \u201cSince none of them looked as good in one as you do, I\u2019ve decided not to smirk over the fact that you\u2019re wearing one in a pub called Treasure Island.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He laughed, the sound low and husky. \u201cIt\u2019s a terrible name for a pub, Scottish or no. And I\u2019ll thank you for not laughing.\u201d He caught her earlobe, bit lightly. \u201cI don\u2019t think my pride could handle it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Impact, Charcoal, sans-serif;\">Read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shilohwalker.com\/website\/new-releases\/headed-for-trouble-southern-romance\/\">more<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Brannon McKay<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 30px;\">The middle child and the only male, Brannon is both the peace-keeper and the protector. \u00a0Easier to laugh than his sisters, he likes his toys&#8211;aka cars that cost a mint and projects *think bookstores or rennovating apartments*&#8211;and he gets bored easily. He&#8217;s finally accepted that it&#8217;s time to move on&#8230;to take what&#8217;s left of his heart and leave. He knows Moira loves him, but sometimes love just isn&#8217;t enough.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: Impact, Charcoal, sans-serif;\">The Right Kind of Trouble<\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re just going to walk away again, Moira\u2026don\u2019t.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He put her down and started to pace.\u00a0 Moira wanted to go to him, but what was she supposed to do?\u00a0 Pantomime what she was feeling?\u00a0 She\u2019d already tried to <em>show<\/em> him and that wasn\u2019t working.<\/p>\n<p>A muttered curse caught her ears and she looked up just as he spun to face her, rage written all over his normally calm features. \u201cYou\u2019re killing me inside, okay?\u00a0 You\u2019re\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then he stopped, his cheeks puffing out as he blew out a slow breath.\u00a0 He drew in a deeper, slower one, holding it for a few seconds.\u00a0 She opened her mouth, but he lifted a hand.<\/p>\n<p>He wasn\u2019t asking her, though.\u00a0 The question was directed inward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, you can\u2019t even talk,\u201d he said, still not facing her.\u00a0 \u201cYou can\u2019t explain what\u2019s going on and I can\u2019t see inside your head.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know what you want\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She reached for the buttons on her shirt.\u00a0 He\u2019d never leave without looking back at her one last time.<\/p>\n<p>She didn\u2019t think.<\/p>\n<p>But then again, she\u2019d messed up something awful.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe this wasn\u2019t the right way to tell him, but there were a hundred <em>wrong <\/em>ways to let him leave.\u00a0 And that was without trying again.\u00a0 Without reaching out, the way he\u2019d done a hundred times.<\/p>\n<p>She shrugged out of her shirt while he was still standing there.\u00a0 Her bra fell away next.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you\u2019re feeling better, we\u2019ll have to talk any\u2026Moira.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She looked at him through the fringe of her hair.\u00a0 He\u2019d turned around.<\/p>\n<p>She found no pleasure in knowing she\u2019d been right.\u00a0 She was manipulating him and she hated herself, but if this would keep him here, with her, a little longer, until she could convince him she was tired of running, tired of pushing away?<\/p>\n<p>Then she was going for it.<\/p>\n<p>When she reached for the button of her jeans, her fingers shook.<\/p>\n<p>Gideon was staring at her, his chest rising and falling in a harsh rhythm.\u00a0 She thought maybe that if she reached out just then, he might have turned and walked out.
