Also, a site some people may not be familiar with…Booktour.com~not all authors use it, but it’s a good way to keep up to date with signings in your area.  I’m listed there and I usually have all my signings added to there.  They send you a weekly update if you do have signings in your area and I don’t tend to get that many emails from them.  Very handy.

I know most of these are in one general area and while I do have plans to branch out more at some point, I just can’t at this time.  I have young kids and they kind of need their mama around so unless I can make it happen during the summer and we make it a family trip, I keep all signings in a fairly close radius.  As they get older, this will change, but for now, I do tend to stick in this part of the country.

Some of you may be familiar with the SOS (Support our Soldiers) programs throughout the country.  A friend of mine one heads one out of Columbus, OH and they are looking for help with their soldiers this Christmas season.  Details are below and feel free to report/foward/etc the message in it’s entirety.

Columbus SOS (support our soldiers)
We will be doing an adopt a soldier over the holidays.  We want them to get cards, letters or packages so they know we back home are supporting them while they are away from their loved ones.
If you think you would like to participate in this please email me and I will send you a name.  This does not have to be expensive to do.  You can make home made treats, a Christmas ornament, candles….email me if you have questions, we have been doing this for almost 6 years now and the soldiers really do appreciate the surprise.
We also are sending out over 700 Christmas cards so always looking for stamp donations!  If you can help me out that would be lovely!

For anyone sending donations you will receive a tax deduction form for your help for tax time!
Thank you

Kelley
