  1. Paperback Writer aka Lynn Viehl/SL Viehl/Jessica Hall/Gena Hale …okay a few of those names have been put to rest, but regardless of what name she uses, she writes the best books and offers some of the best advice.
  2. Encyclopedia Mythica great place for researching mythical creatures.
  3. Wikipedia great place for researching anything.
  4. Google Maps  Want to write about a place you’ve never or a place you haven’t been to in a while?  Check your details here.  The satellite images can zoom down so well, you can see cars parked on streets
  5. Find a name for your characters at Baby Names
  6. Mrs. Giggles.  No, I’m not kidding.  If you wanna know what doesn’t always work, and why, read her reviews.  She doesn’t sugar coat anything.  Besides, she is entertaining.
  7. Effing Pot British slang
  8. Costumer’s Manifesto  For the historical writer.
  9. History.com Again, for the historical writer.  I don’t do much in the historical area but there’s some interesting info here.
  10. Charlotte Boyett-Compo. An author website and she has a little bit of info about a lot of different things, handy, handy
  11. Dictionary.com Self Explanatory.
  12. Romance Writers of America For those who want to talk with fellow romance writer.  Lists the various chapters.  (I love my local chapter.)
  13. Google. If you can’t find it anywhere in the links above… just google it.

Don’t forget to leave your link with Mr. Linky.
