There are some awesome people in blogland and in the publishing industry. Plain and simple.
This is what I’ve got in my garage…
I don’t know if the picture shows very well just how many books came in. We’re probably looking at between 300-500 books. I haven’t had the chance to count them recently but trust me, there’s a heck of a lot of books there.

- (and that list goes on and on… I’ll beg off listing them all because it’s early and my brain is lacking caffeine)
Readers sent in a HUGE amount of books.
There’s one lady in particular who ordered a ton of new books from Amazon to send. I’ve lost count of how many she bought for this book drive.
All in all… we did pretty damn good, I think.
At this time, the Louisville Library has requested I end the book drive. It will be a while still before they can take the books. I’ll continue to store them here and at some point, I will try to go through and do a better count, list the authors who donated, etc.
